Following the retirement of FSC Financial Examination Bureau Director General Tzy-Hao Chang on 2 August 2024, FSC Banking Bureau Deputy Director General Chen-chang Tong was promoted to assume Chang's vacated position. The personnel changes were approved by the Executive Yuan on 19 September 2024, and Director General Tong assumed his new position on 25 September 2024.
