In order to strengthen the communication with financial holding companies and improve the effectiveness of internal control and internal audit mechanisms, the FSC held a colloquium for chief internal auditors of 15 financial holding companies on Oct. 4, 2023.

The session topics included primary examination findings in asset management companies invested by financial holding companies and customer personal information protection, and cases sharing of significant examination findings on fraud prevention and risk control mechanisms, so as to facilitate the participants to learn from each other and share experiences. The FSC also responded to the opinions for its questionnaires, showed how to inquire those responses on its website, and promoted the issues of anti-corruption elections and gender equality.

With two-way communication in the session, it allowed financial institutions to gain a better understanding about the FSC’s supervisory concerns and examination focuses. The FSC will appropriately hold similar meetings to enhance the exchange of opinions with financial institutions.
