In order to strengthen the communication with insurance-related companies and associations as well as improve the effectiveness of internal audit mechanisms, the FSC held a colloquium for chief internal auditors of life insurance companies, non-life insurance companies and reinsurance companies along with the life insurance association and non-life insurance association on September 27, 2023.

The session topics included the primary examination findings for the use of insurer''s funds in special projects, foreign securities investments, protection of the interests of the elderly and people with disabilities, and the main deficiencies of personal data protection. The FSC also promoted the importance of anti-fraud, anti-corruption elections and gender equality.

During the meeting, the FSC exchanged a wide range of opinions with all participants. With two-way communication, it allowed financial institutions to gain a better understanding about the supervisory concerns and the examination focuses.
