Since the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has announced that, effective May 1, COVID-19 would be reclassified as a Category 4 notifiable communicable disease and financial institutions have generally returned to normal operations, the FEB request the financial institutions to resume the original Auditing Plan and Practices:

1.From now on, financial institutions should conduct auditing activities fully according to the annual audit plan.

2.From now on, the auditing practices for domestic branches or units and overseas branches or subsidiaries shall follow the requirements of the Implementation rules.

3. From now on, the "Announcement of adjusting Financial Institutions’ Internal Auditing Plan and Practices in response to the CCES’s raising COVID-19 alert level to Level 3(2021.6.4)" and " FAQ on Internal Audit for COVID-19" are ceased to apply.
