In order to strengthen the communication with financial holding companies and improve the effectiveness of internal control and internal audit mechanisms, the FSC held a colloquium for chief internal auditors of 16 financial holding companies on Oct. 18, 2022.

The session topics included the results of internal audit quality assessment and its main deficiencies, and the primary examination findings in corporate governance and financial holding group’s management of investee companies, so as to facilitate the participants to learn from each other and share experiences. The FSC also promoted the issues of anti-corruption elections and gender equality.

With two-way communication, it allowed financial institutions to gain a better understanding about the supervisory concerns and the examination focuses. The FSC will appropriately hold similar meetings to enhance opinion exchanges with financial institutions.
