According to amendment of financial regulations and examination practice requirements, the FEB revises financial examination manuals for the fourth quarter of 2019 (base date: December 31, 2019).

The FEB has compiled financial examination manuals for fourteen industries. Except that electronic stored value cards issuers, specialized credit card business institutions and insurance agent companies and insurance broker companies examination manuals are revised yearly, the remaining industries such as financial holding companies examination manuals are revised quarterly. These manuals are divided into two categories: "Complete version" and "Revised version". "Complete version" shows the full contents of financial examination manuals as of the current quarter (year). "Revised version" shows updated information quarterly (yearly). Please refer to the "Financial Examination Manuals" section under the Examination Info.

From 2020, the revised frequency of the examination manuals for 11 industries such as financial holding companies will be adjusted from quarterly to semi-annually, and the base date will be June 30 and December 31 each year. Electronic stored value cards issuers, specialized credit card business institutions and insurance agent companies and insurance broker companies examination manuals are still revised yearly.

In addition, the FEB has revised the AML/CFT Compliance Examination Manual for Securities Firms.
